    Yunnan is definitely one of the most ethnically fascinating and scenically stunning provinces in all of China. Home to 25 of China's minority groups and over half of all China's plant and animal species - it is easy to understand why Yunnan is highly favored by all kinds of travelers. Our adventure tour will take you to the extraordinary natural wonder at Jade Dragon Mountain and Tiger Leaping Gorge-the third deepest gorge in the world with it's towering walls and dramatic beauty, meander along the majestic Yangzi River. Traverse the Yangtze river valley and ride some never-been-ridden trails in northwestern Yunnan to Stone Village. On this tour you will discover the matriarchy society of the Mosuo People and the historical city of Lijiang.

    Day by Day Itinerary 

    Day 1 Lijiang (2400m) 

    Arrive in Lijiang, check in the hotel prebooked by Ridechina. We suggest you manage to arrive earlier to visit this world heritage town. We meet at 18:00 for a group dinner. (D) 

    Day 2 Lijiang - Lugu Lake(3000m) 

    Meet your bikes and ride to Lugu Lake, lugu lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in China where the Mosuo ethnic people live. They are still live in a matriarchal society. (Ride 227 KM) (B,D) 

    Day 3 Lugu lake - Stone village ( 1771 m) 

    We will ride from Lugu Lake to the Yangtse Valley and wind our way to Stone Town. Very scenic riding on cobble stones roads. (Ride 160KM) (B,D) 

    Day 4 Stone Village - Daju(1760m) - Haba (2600 m) 

    We will ride to Yangtse and ferry the river. Ride to Haba Village under Haba snow Mountain. We will be riding on dirt tracks in the backdrop of the Jade Dragon Mountain. (Ride 130KM) (B,D) 

    Day 5 Haba - Tiger Leaping Gorge - Lijiang (2400) 

    Ride through the third deepest gorge in the world, we ride to Lijiang via Longpan and cross the Jade Dragon Mountain. Return to Lijiang we celebrate this great off road adventure. (Ride 130km) (B,D) 

    Day 6 Lijiang 

    Trip ends after breakfast. (B)
